First of all I want to apologize to Harlan. I told him I'd do silver review soon after I stopped in. I haven't been able to do it until now. Now to the review. He spent about 30 minutes showing us the equipment, how it worked, and was very patient with all our questions. We didn't end up doing any business with him, not because of the prices he offered. The reason we didn't do any business was only because, we decided nothing we had, were items we could bear to part with. He didn't mind at all and traders just as gracious and polite as if we street everything we owned to him. All in all he just seemed to be a really great guy. He had his entire family hanging out there at his store, and it was a nice environment and I envied the fact they could all be together like that while running a business. I'm glad he took over the old Pawn-X-Change location and I recommend their business to anyone who has things they are ready to "sell". If you want to part with stuff forever, he's the guy to go to. I ultimately finished my search with Ben at Sound Gold Buyers in Ballard and was happy I did. Ben at Sound Gold Buyers knows what he's talking about and is a 4th generation gold buyer. He has all the tools and knowledge necessary to figure out what's valuable and what's not in your gold collection. He answered all of my questions and gave me the best offer around. I would recommend shopping around, but I think you'll find that Ben will be very fair and honest with you and give you the best deal around! They bought a gold ring and necklace from me that I had sitting around for years. They were going to give me cash but I requested a check since I don't feel comfortable carrying that much cash on me. Harlan also helped find a buyer for an ivory necklace that I had, an item that is not even their specialty. Bellevue guys go above and beyond what is necessary in order to please their customers.
